A Great Coach Is Very Clear On Their Own “WHY”

To build a stable, profitable network marketing business, you must

2. Develop your own ability to coach your recruits to success in your system

The most important element of being able to coach your recruits to success is … You!

You must understand your WHY and focus on it daily. You’ve got to know exactly what motivates you, or you’ll never be able to help your prospects figure out what motivates them.

And if they can’t state their WHY, then they’ll drift away sooner or later. They can’t maintain their commitment if they can’t see exactly why they’re doing the daily work.

Re-read the first chapter of Success In 10 Steps if you’re at all hazy about your WHY. You’ll get at least 20 questions in that chapter to help you pinpoint your motivations.

Many new distributors think that choosing a different company will make them successful. These distributors think that success is “outside” of them, and that the external factors will make the difference.

But success in network marketing is an “inside job.”

You have to learn some skills. And if you don’t have skills, changing companies just means that you’ll be unsuccessful in a different company.

BEACON OF LIGHT

Most people that are working at creating an extra income from home  (part or full time), whether they are willing to admit it or not, have struggled at some point. INNER CONFLICTS

Success in business building is 80% psychology and 20% mechanics. If you have inner conflicts, you will continually take 2 steps forward and 3 steps back.

You’ve got to resolve your Inner Conflicts. Why do you keep saying that you want this? You have crystal clarity on why you want to do the business you chose, you have the tools and mentors and you’re still not getting it?  There’s a conflict in you.

For example,

A. You say: “I’m totally committed to this” but you don’t follow through.
B. You have the mentor and tools and you’re still not getting it? There’s a conflict in you.
C. You want to be totally successful, but you’re afraid at some level that if you are totally successful, you will not be loved, you’ll be rejected.
D. You want to be in a position where you have total free time and you want to build a billion dollar enterprise! These are conflicts!
E. You really, truly know you have the tools and talents to make this happen, but a part of you doesn’t think you deserve to succeed…because of something you did at one point of your life, or something you made up…
F. Or you think making money and being successful economically is not spiritual, and you’re committed to being spiritual, yet the other part of you. . .

Do you see what I’m getting at?

It’s the inner conflicts between fighting parts. SO what do we do? Picture it like a Vault that we’ve got to Unlock.

UNLOCK AND UNLEASH!

1. IDENTIFY INNER CONFLICTS. Get clear on what they are. Otherwise you will be pulled in 2 different directions. You have to get clear on what’s most important to you today, not what you think you should do based on an old blueprint, an old belief system, your parents, society, your friends. Otherwise you’ll succeed and not be fulfilled.

One thing that really helps one identify inner conflicts is a group discussion of “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. As you write what you “got” out of each chapter each week and dig deeper, you will be amazed at how it helps you identify your fears, negative thinking and other things that may be holding you back. Once you identify them, you can work at replacing them with positive thinking and actions and start moving forward, unhindered.

2. ALIGN YOUR LIFE WITH WHAT YOU VALUE. What’s most important to you today?  Writing down your reason “WHY” you want to do the business you chose helps you get clear on lining it up with what you truly value in life.

3. TAKE ACTION. You won’t even have to work hard at it!  Do what you Love! When everything is in alignment (what you want and value and what you are doing to get it) there’s nothing pulling you away. BOOM! You GO for it! You become unstoppable! What’s going to happen? You’re going to achieve, succeed, and when you succeed, here’s what you can add to it our Point #4: Celebrate!

4. CELEBRATE! Contribute! Pay it FORWARD. Don’t pay it back. Take what you’ve learned and bring it to someone else. It continues that cycle of fulfillment, of joy, of meaning in your life.

Two things are on my mind today that may help you.

WE ARE NOT PERFECT!

Just recently on a training call, a weight was lifted off my shoulders.  The lights turned on!  I was enlightened and unburdened! Here’s the statement that helped me the most:

“You don’t have to get it right, you just have to GET IT GOING!”

We are NOT perfect - and – we do not HAVE to be perfect!  Doing our Best does not require perfection! No, I’m not promoting becoming sloppy in your work ethics.  By no means . . . but

Excellence does not require Perfection. In fact, trying to be perfect can slow you down tremendously! Allow me to explain:

I am one of those people who wants everything  just so!  I was taught early-on that anything I put in front of people is representing me (or the company) and so it needs to be perfect! For example, when I write a blog or article, I go back and tweak it over and over and line everything up, make sure the spelling and grammar are correct, center everything . . . tweak, tweak, tweak….   I want it to be perfect!

On the phone, I wanted every word to be perfect! For years, I wrote phone scripts and stuck to them for fear I would say the wrong thing or forget something!  Oh my, what I went through just because I wanted everything to be perfect!

As you continue to write your blogs, make your phone calls, email people and  whatever else you are doing, you will continually get better as you learn and grow! It does NOT have to be perfect!!

You don’t even have to KNOW IT ALL!!  You can get started and LEARN AS YOU GO!

Excellence does not require Perfection. “You don’t have to get it right, you just have to get it going!”

That was SO hard to wrap my brain around, but you know what?  Once you get this, it is very freeing and it will allow your production (instead of useless activity) to sky rocket!

As soon as I let that sink in, I wrote an email to my brother and wrote at the bottom that I’m sending this email out as-is!  . . . and you know what?  It was fine!  It was perfect, just the way it was!  Just as YOU ARE!

HAVE AN ATTITUDE OF ACTION:

My second thought tied right in with perfectionism.  It came from a quotation from a Facebook friend that I picked up:

“A Woman of Words and not of Deeds is like a Garden full of Weeds!”

Have you just been sitting there, not moving forward in life? Are you just waiting for something to happen? What are you waiting for?  Isn’t it time to take action? . . .  and now you know you don’t have to do it perfectly!

JUST GET STARTED – and MOVE FORWARD!   TAKE ACTION TODAY.

Do something each day to move you closer to your goal.

In keeping with the spirit of this blog, I am going to resist the urge to line everything up just so and tweak it and instead, I’m letting it go as-is!  I think you will enjoy it just fine as I wrote it!  Well, ok, I confess, I did proof-read it!
